Gasket & seal kit for all 1977-80 23 spline cast iron case/cast iron extension housing overdrive A833 A/F body and truck transmissions. Flat paper gaskets supplied in this kit are manufactured exclusively for Brewer�s Performance with a high performance matrix material, providing excellent flexibility, low flange pressure sealing, good bolt torque retention and reduced fluid wicking. Continuous temperature rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This material DOES NOT require the use of ANY additional sealants. The use of additional sealants can cause the gaskets to squirm while torquing, thus resulting in a torn or damaged gasket! Kit includes extension housing, side cover, and 308 bearing retainer gaskets, front pinion & rear tail shaft seal, reverse detent and backup light switch gaskets, gearshift lever shaft o-rings, speedometer adapter housing inner seal/outer o-ring, and countershaft plug.
